A long-stay or national visa is another name for a Poland Type D visa. Those who wish to live, work, or study in Poland are granted this visa. You must apply for a long-stay visa to stay in the Republic of Poland for over 90 days. You can travel for up to 90 days during 180 days on the soil of other Schengen nations with a Type D national visa.

A residency permit is not the same as a Type D visa. How to Apply for a Poland Type D Visa?

Poland D visa duration

Polish Type D Visa to Residence Permit Conversion
